This session in the International Scientific Symposium is a fast-paced blend of 4 clinical and operations EMS research presentations. Expert facilitators moderate a panel of principal investigators showcasing the best, never-seen before, most creative and cutting-edge original research performed this year. The projects presented are the best of those submitted, peer-reviewed, and ranked by the Prehospital Care Research Forum at UCLA. After each rapid-fire presentation the audience has the opportunity to make comments, dialogue with the authors, and ask probing questions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Defend the importance of evidence-based decisions in prehospital care education and clinical practice.
  • Respectfully challenge the conclusions drawn by authors regarding their research.
  • Recognize the ease with which prehospital providers can become involved in research.
