Joshua Hake is a fire fighter and paramedic with the City of Columbus Division of Fire currently assigned to Engine/Medic 18. He served 5 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps infantry. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps he attended The Ohio State University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology: Pre-Medicine. He was accepted to numerous medical schools, but ultimately chose to accept the position with the Columbus Division of Fire in 2017. He lives with his wife and 2 Boston Terriers (Cora and Clark) in downtown Columbus, Ohio. He has received awards during his time in the Marine Corps for his actions during combat operations and awards with the Columbus Division of Fire for actions during EMS and fire incidents.
