Ian Drennan, ACP PhD is a Paramedic Scientist at the University of Toronto and Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. He is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and Affilate Scientist at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto and his research interests include clinical and health services research in Paramedicine, including resuscitation science and other critical illness. Ian is the current Vice-Chair of the ALS task force for the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and a Senior Science Editor for the American Heart Association CPR Guidelines.
