Dr Linda Dykes is a senior UK Consultant in Emergency Medicine who has extensive experience of working with EMS (from working as an ambulance control room doctor, to training military SAR paramedics). Linda is also a qualified GP, with a Acute Community Geriatrics focus to her career since 2016. Dr Dykes qualified from Newcastle Medical School in 1996, trained in Emergency Medicine in the Northern & Mersey regions, and moved to NW Wales in 2005 for her first Consultant post. There, she was Director of the Bangor Mountain Medicine project, a unique multi-agency collaboration investigating the epidemiology of Snowdonia mountain casualties and putting the findings into clinical practice. She moved to Herefordshire in 2020. Linda is a prolific conference presenter, who is thrilled to be returning to EMS World Expo.
