Melissa Butscher, EMT-P, CP-C, most recently worked for Allegheny Health Network’s Mobile Integrated Health program in Pittsburgh, PA. She has worked in the EMS field for 25 years divided between both ground and critical care air medical services. As a leader of a community paramedic program, she is a subject matter expert on the integration of social determinants of health and patient centered goal setting. During her tenure, she also assisted on a FORE grant initiative to help develop innovative methods of combatting SUD in the MIH environment. Melissa has a passion for reducing health disparities by identifying and reducing implicit bias in healthcare to improve patient outcomes.
