Jeffrey M. Goodloe, MD, NRP, FACEP, FAEMS serves as Chief Medical Officer for the EMS System for Metropolitan Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The system is comprised of over 2,700 credentialed EMS professionals collectively responding to over 250,000 911 medical calls annually, serving a population of over 1.25 million residents. Organizations in the system include the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), Oklahoma City Fire Department, Tulsa Fire Department, multiple suburban fire departments, American Airlines Emergency Response Team at Tulsa-based Maintenance & Engineering, and multiple law enforcement agencies, including Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He serves as Professor and EMS Section Chief in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa. Widely known from national speaking, his research interests include operational efficiency, safety, and resuscitation.
