Brijesh P Mehta, M.D., is a neurointerventional surgeon and Medical Director of Comprehensive Stroke Centers and Neurointerventional Surgery Program at the Memorial Neuroscience Institute. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and completed Harvard Medical School residency and fellowship training programs in Neurology, Stroke/Neurocritical Care, and Endovascular Neurosurgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. Dr Mehta’s passion and research interests are in building high efficiency acute stroke systems of care and process improvement. He is a founding member of the tri-county South Florida EMS Stroke Coalition to help optimize stroke care across the region.
