Dr. May Nour, Assistant Professor of Neurology and Radiology at UCLA, serves as Medical Director of the UCLA Stroke Rescue Program. Dr. Nour is dually trained in Vascular Neurology and Endovascular/Interventional Neuroradiology. She received her Ph.D. in neurosciences, focusing on gene therapy for inherited retinal degeneration, from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Following her postdoctoral fellowship, she earned her M.D. degree from the University of Arizona. Dr. Nour continued her neurology & subspecialty training in the medical & minimally invasive surgical/endovascular treatment of neurovascular disease at the University of California, Los Angeles. She serves as site PI of multiple clinical trials, including PCORI project, BEST-MSU, assessing the clinical benefit and health care utilization of mobile stroke units for the treatment of ischemic and hemorrhagic diseases of the brain.
