Eric Beairsto began his career in EMS 29 years ago working first as an EMT, then as an Intermediate Care Paramedic completing his Advanced Care Paramedic diploma in 2003. Eric was a Senior Operations Paramedic, Field Training Paramedic, Trauma Registry Liaison, and ACP instructor. He held the position of Quality & Learning Paramedic in Nova Scotia before accepting a position of Education Coordinator at Ambulance New Brunswick in 2007. Eric is currently the Director of Training & Quality Assurance, responsible for the continuing education for all paramedics, the monitoring/reporting of paramedic performance, the Public Access Defibrillation Program and other initiatives as clinical lead. Eric received a graduate degree in Education in 2014 and maintains his strong interest in curriculum design, simulation and paramedic education.
