Sachin Agarwal, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurocritical care at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, New York. Dr. Agarwal is the founder and Director of NeuroCardiac Comprehensive Care Clinic (N4C), the first of its kind in the United States. It is a “One-Stop-Shop” that offers comprehensive, multi-disciplinary, well-coordinated care for survivors of cardiac arrest. Dr. Agarwal's research interests lie in characterizing the cognitive, psychological, and health-behavioral dimensions of cardiac arrest survivorship for both survivors and family members. He is involved in designing behavioral interventions for anxiety and posttraumatic stress by leveraging physiological and behavioral targets. He is a founding member of Hearsight, a north American initiative focusing on providing trusted informational resources to anyone affected by cardiac arrest.
