Brian J. Maguire, Dr.PH, MSA, EMT-P, is the senior epidemiologist at a military medical research laboratory. His previous experience includes being a Senior Fulbright Scholar, university professor, research center director, EMS agency president, hospital department manager, city-wide coordinator of paramedic training in New York City, and a NYC paramedic. Dr. Maguire has presented in 12 countries and has authored over 100 publications; he is one of the most productive researchers in the world in the study of paramedic safety. He has a doctoral degree in public health from the George Washington University, and a master’s degree in health administration from Central Michigan University. On a recent collaboration, he and his team won the best poster award at a military medical conference that had over 1,200 posters. He lives in Connecticut.
