Dr. Tiffany Pleasent is a former rural EMT, originally from Central and Southern Mississippi. She completed medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN followed by emergency medicine residency at The University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She then completed fellowship in EMS at UT Southwestern while working within the Office of the Medical Director and MedStar Mobile Healthcare within Fort Worth, TX. There, she developed a special interest and expertise in quality improvement science and mobile integrated health. She has begun her career by producing research and speaking nationally in advocation for excellent research and QI programs within mobile integrated health programs.
