Lieutenant William Bullock, EMT-P, is a 21 year veteran of the San Antonio Fire Department and presently works as team lead of the SAFD prehospital blood program and field EMS supervisor. He has provided operational and logistical support through all aspects of program evolution. Lt. Bullock has used his experience, training, and research to assist dozens of other organizations in prehospital blood program design and implementation. He recently presented the SAFD Blood Program to the Head of the US Fire Administration Dr. Lori Moore-Merrell and is a nationally recognized speaker and author of multiple peer reviewed articles. Lt. Bullock is presently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration from Sul Ross State University with an emphasis on emergency preparedness.
