Danny Opperman, MBA, NRP is the Director of Clinical Simulation Education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Danny has been functioning as an EMS provider in the State of New Jersey for over 22 years. He's held various other roles in addition to being a paramedic provider, including Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator, Educator and Simulation Manager over his EMS tenure. In his role at PCOM, he oversees the daily operations of three high-fidelity simulation centers across two states. He works with a highly credentialed team of managers, clinicians, educators and technicians building case scenarios and skills labs for medical students. He holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and is currently working on a Doctorate in Health Profession Sciences, focusing his research in clincal simulation, from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
