Curt Smith, MPA, EFO, NRP has been a federal disaster responder since 1993 10 years with the AMerican Red Cross and 18 years with the National Disaster Medical System. He currently serves as the Deputy Team Commander for Colorado 2 Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT). Curt served in the Army National Guard 24th Medical Helicopter Ambulance. Curt has been a Paramedic since 1998 and in the fire service since 1999. He has presented at numerous local and state conferences on a wide range of topics but with special interest, training, knowledge and experience in MCI and Triage. Curt has been a Fire and EMS instructor for 25 years teaching all levels of EMS. Curt currently works for Poudre Fire Authority in Fort Collins, Colorada as an EMS Education Specialist.
